Front-end Developer & UX Designer

Hi there 👋

My name is Anthony Apicella. I am currently studying Front-End Development after completing a UX Design program at Noroff. Rooted in Marseille and guided by a poetic mindset, I approach development with curiosity and creativity. I focus on building interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and Figma for UX Design project. My goal is simple: make life easier for users. I enjoy researching user needs, experimenting with solutions through testing, and crafting digital experiences that feel intuitive and meaningful. Because in life, we don't really have problems — we have challenges.

The app includes a portfolio page where freelancers can present their projects and a learning hub where they can offer courses or live sessions in areas such as marketing, design, and web development. Through research and user testing, I explored challenges freelancers face, such as income instability and lack of visibility.

Airbnb

Airbnb

This project focused on improving the Airbnb website experience by optimizing navigation and the booking system. Through usability testing, I analyzed how users interact with the platform and identified several friction points. The research showed confusion around the budget filter, low visibility of filters, and unclear information on the homepage. Based on these insights, I redesigned the filters, integrated them into the search bar, and improved typography to enhance clarity and accessibility.

This project involved designing a high-fidelity contact form page for the design company Okalpha, which specializes in web development, UI/UX design, and digital marketing. The goal was to create a visually appealing and accessible contact experience for all users. The process included research on accessible forms, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to refine the experience and ensure a smooth and inclusive interaction.
